John Wallace, Learn to Care Treasurer, has put together a document which gives a timetable, as definitely as is available, for the implementation of the recommendations of the Social Work Reform Board. As more information becomes available, it will be updated.

The most recent version of the Learn to Care PESTLE analysis for January 2012 is now available.
This version follows on from the analysis carried out at the Funding Summit on 6th December 2010 and updates in 2011 - for more details contact the office. 

Also available is a summary of the Skills for Care Workforce Development Strategy document. 


Also available is a document outlining the Adult Social Care Workforce Recruitment and Retention Strategy. 


If you would like a copy of any of these documents then please contact the Learn to Care office Non-members (i.e. those not working for Local Authorities) will be charged £2 to have these documents made available to them.

   

Learn to Care in partnership with colleagues from Bournemouth University, regularly produce publications supporting workforce development across the social care sector.
Copies are offered free to Annual Conference and Funding event delegates but otherwise they may be purchased via the Learn to Care office.

Seeking Authors

The National Committee always welcome submissions and ideas for future publications from colleagues in learning and workforce development in the Social Care sector.


Submissions received will be put to the Learn to Care Editorial Panel so as to judge their suitability.

There will be no payments made to the authors of Learn to Care Occasional Papers. However, they will receive a number of complimentary copies of the publication and will not be expected to contribute to any publication or distribution costs relating to the paper.
